GCG provided the Town of Shelburne with survey, design, CDBG grant assistance, bidding, and construction administration services for the reconstruction of Bridge Street. The project was funded through the Massachusetts Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.

The project consisted of the design of the following: Water system improvements, full depth reconstruction of the existing roadway and sidewalk, modification of the vertical alignment of the existing roadway to improve drainage, removal and resetting of existing curbing and installation of new granite curbing, installation of Silva Cell tree wells, replacement of existing street light bulbs with new energy efficient LED bulbs, improvement of handicap accessible ramps and crosswalks, improved parking layout with additional parking spaces, and improvement of safety features of the roadway.
