GCG provided C.J. Doherty, Inc. with survey, permitting, and design services for the Bunker Hill Street Condominium Project in Charlestown, MA. This was a development project that combined two adjacent lots into a single lot with a combined area of 13,700 square feet. The development included the construction of a three-story residential multi-family (nine units) building with a bituminous concrete driveway, and an underground parking garage.

The project consisted of the design of the following: Site layout design to maximize the potential use of the site based on the City’s regulations, soil testing, stormwater management report and design calculations, onsite drainage treatment through a bioretention area with pre-treatment, coordination with local utilities (Boston Water and Sewer, National Grid, Eversource, etc.), utility design (4-inch domestic water service, 6-inch fire service, 6-inch sewer service, gas, cable and electrical services), existing conditions survey, construction layout, and construction as-built plans.
