GCG provided the Town of Fairhaven with survey, design, CDBG grant assistance, bidding, and construction administration services for the reconstruction of Hedge Street from the Main Street intersection to the Acushnet River. The project was completed in phases from 2017 to 2019. The project was funded through the Massachusetts Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program in two separate grant cycles.

The project consisted of the design of the following: Replacement of the sewer, drainage and water systems, installation of a stormwater treatment device, replacing a seawall, full depth reconstruction of the existing roadway and sidewalks, removal and installation of new curbing, ADA compliant handicap ramps and landscaping improvements.
